OMSI Mini Maker Faire

The Maker Faire usually happens every September. Pixel Arts collaborates with the Portland Indie Game Squad to showcase independent games made by adults and youth from the Pacific NW.  We will be hosting a table where you can playtest new games, talk with game developers, and learn about the many rich programs for youth in the area.

Portland Retro Gaming Expo

The Portland Retro Gaming Expo is usually every October. It is is a Portland, Oregon-based 501(c)4 non-profit cooperative organization dedicated to creating awareness of, and appreciation for classic video and arcade games.  A celebration candy-wrapped in bits and bytes, the PRGE offers free arcades, vendors and non-profit tables.  We will be hosting an interactive exhibit and game developers will be on hand to talk games, play and design.

Game Jams

We host game jams every Summer in association with the Portland Indie Game Squad, and we host game jams at local schools. Our last series explore choose-your-own-adventure story games using Twine at Cesar Chavez Middle School with Campfire.
