From Spring to Fall, students will be offered opportunities to explore Oregon’s burgeoning digital storytelling cluster. They represent industries including film, software development, museum and library sciences, games, and more.
The Mythos Challenge asks youth to create a digital interactive story, a game, or a mobile app inspired by a theme and special exhibition at the Portland Art Museum. Winning entries which represent its theme will be played throughout the exhibit and are eligible for Youth Play Fund awards totaling $5000.
Youth can also gain important leadership skills by joining the Mythos Youth Council. The council leads the Mythos Challenge and is an amazing opportunity to gain college, career, and professional development. By participating, youth have fun and gain practical experience in important skills such as Project Management, Event Planning, Interactive Design, and Policy Making.
