Your privacy and the privacy of children is of the utmost importance so that we can ensure safety, security and welfare of all visitors and participants of Pixel Arts Game Education activities. In non-legal, simple terms, we do not sell or redistribute personal identification information including email, phone or addresses; we limit access of private, confidential or personal identification information to organizational representatives; we do anonymize and aggregate date for evaluation of services; and we wish to be as responsive as possible to your concerns and needs.

This privacy statement discloses the privacy practices for Pixel Arts Game Education. Our statement explains the personally identifiable information we collect, how we use and share information, and how to correct access or inaccuracies.

Information Collection and Use

Pixel Arts is sole owner of the information collected on this site. We do not sell, share, rent or give this information to others in ways different from what is disclosed in this statement. We collect information from our users at several different points.

Enrollment, Registration and Survey Submissions

We may ask users to input personal identification information to enroll and register for events and services. We also ask users for feedback on services. Users may be required to give their contact information or participant information–email, phone, address, age, medical history, emergency contact information.

This information is used to contact users and ensure the safety of participants in programs. We only use it when necessary. We do anonymize and aggregate information for research and to assess our programs.

Cookies

A cookie is stored on the user’s flash or hard drive containing information about users. You can access our site without cookies, but some areas such enrollment and registration forms may require cookies.

Analytics

Research and Evaluation

We may share aggregated demographic information with funders and other non-profits partners and organizations. This is not linked to personal information that can identify an individual person. Information utilized for academic research or assessment is checked by Institutional Review Boards to ensure consent and full disclosure. We disclose academic research uses prior to data collection.

Security

The site does not collect sensitive information such as credit card numbers or social security numbers. We currently use HTTP encryption, but please be aware that it is possible for information submitted to be intercepted by other parties.

Only employees who need the information to perform a specific job (e.g. volunteer coordinators, program directors) are granted access to personally identifiable information.

Electronic Donations

We will be using PayPal’s secure site to collect credit card payments for donations. PayPal will not sell, share, or rent information they collect on our behalf in ways different than what is disclosed in this statement. See www.paypal.com for the complete privacy policy.  

Confidentiality clauses are included in all agreements with other entities and independent consultants who provide services to us or make products and services available to you. Under such an agreement, these service providers may receive information about you, but they may only use it for the limited purpose of services by Pixel Arts Game Education. They are restricted from using this information for any other purpose.
