Annual Rob Ingram Youth Summit Against Violence

WEBYouth summitIn partnership with the Oregon Game Project Challenge, the Multnomah Youth Commission (MYC) invites youth teams to play test their games at the 3rd Annual Rob Ingram Youth Summit Against Violence.

Saturday April 5th@the Ambridge Event Center (1333 NE MLK Jr. Blvd).

In 2011, the MYC established the Youth Against Violence Committee (YAV) in response to the growing violence directed towards young people. Youth commissioners identified seven types of violence:

  • Anti-Gay and Gender
  • Cyberbullying
  • Gang
  • Home/Family
  • Police
  • School (Bullying)
  • Sexual & Dating Violence.

Help inspire new conversations about violence and support YAV’s ongoing mission to create change! Entries will be screened by Youth Commissioners for relevance to the Summit and Multnomah County youth. For more information, please contact Jeffrey at jsens@GameEducationPDX.com or enroll below.

Adults may submit games for the expo, but preference will go to youth made games.
